Trial period : new rules

Following recent change of the French law – No. 2008-596 of 25 June 2008 – to modernize the labor market in France, the downloadable document attached outlines the new rules for the trial period, repeating the text of the Code du Travail regarding :

a) Applicability of the trial period;
b) Duration of the trial period;
c) Extension and Renewal;
d) Termination of the contract during the trial period.
